Knife makers of "S" Series blades. These blades are made of 440c and rate an RC of 57-58, some higher. These are high carbon and stainless blades with a heavier constuction. Higher quality then any foreign made, lesser quality blades.

Gunrunning scandal uncovered at the ATF (Project Gun Runner)

- By Sharyl Attkisson Feb 23rd Story

ATF RESPONSE - Justice Department which oversees ATF says the agency has never knowingly allowed the sale of assault weapons to suspected gunrunners.

They use the term in the correct context. The AK's that were sold were semi-automatic, so they are by definition not "assault weapons". The Justice Departments response can be parsed as truthfull and correct even though it is 100% spin.

Followed by Fast and Furious by Sharyl Attkisson on March 3rd.

ATF agent says "Fast and Furious" program let guns "walk" into hands of Mexican drug cartels with aim of tracking and breaking a big case

Were the facts and figures used to form political opinion about gun control legislation manufactured by the Obama Administration.

First of all, when I heard Hillary Clinton make the accusation in 2010 that Guns were being purchased in the US and smuggled into Mexico I thought she was nuts.
I thought she was simply repeating a sound byte to stir up her left wing base.
Then the President chimed in.
Mar-09
President Barack Obama has promised a crackdown on guns from the U.S., which account for 90 percent of the weapons confiscated in Mexico.
Then in April of 2009 -- California Sen. Dianne Feinstein said at a Senate hearing: "It is unacceptable to have 90 percent of the guns that are picked up in Mexico and used to shoot judges, police officers and mayors ... come from the United States."
Then
-- William Hoover, assistant director for field operations at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, testified in the House of Representatives that "there is more than enough evidence to indicate that over 90 percent of the firearms that have either been recovered in, or interdicted in transport to Mexico, originated from various sources within the United States."

Here is my question.
The Dealers that were told by ATF to let the sales go through.
Were the allowed to keep the sales money?
If this were a true undercover reverse buy, The cash used in the sale would be evidence.
Therefore ATF would have to seize the cash from the FFL Dealer and either give him a receipt or recompense.
If the dealers have these receipts then ATF can not cover this up.
If they do not, then it is their word against ATF, and ATF has deniability.

Then a major story breaks by CBS News -

It only gets worse,

Please familiarize yourself with this story. Keeping in mind that this could be a situation in which the Administration Officials are creating statistics to match the sound bytes high officials have been spewing, all in an attempt to forge legislation and sign treaties.

Most gun owners know that just because a Semi-Auto Rifle, is black, or has a folding stock, or a hi capacity magazine, or a flash suppressor, does not make it an "Assault Rifle". But these were some of the rules written by politicians into the laws of several states because the term "Assault Rifle" has been adopted by the media and anti-gun groups.

Gun Owners we have a new term to use when discussing the AR-15 or any other Black Rifle.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation has coined the term Modern Sporting Rifle to more accurately describe the AR-15 platform and is asking that shooters do the same. The NSSF asks you to be an informed gun owner and to use the following facts to correct misconceptions about these rifles.

Support the cause and banish the term Assault Weapon from any conversation. Replace it with "MSR" or Modern Sporting Rifle.

The Term Assault Rifle or Assaulf Weapon is not applicable in most cases used.

AR 15 Fun FACTS

The AR in "AR-15" rifle stands for Armalite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. "AR" does NOT stand for "assault rifle" or "automatic rifle."
AR-15-style rifles are NOT "assault weapons" or "assault rifles." An assault rifle is fully automatic -- a machine gun. Automatic firearms have been severely restricted from civil"ian ownership since 1934.
AR-15-style rifles look like military rifles, such as the M-16, but function like other semi-automatic civilian sporting firearms, firing only one round with each pull of the trigger.

Versions of modern sporting rifles are legal to own in all 50 states, provided the purchaser passes the mandatory FBI background check required for all retail firearm purchasers.

Since the 19th century, civilian sporting rifles have evolved from their military predecessors. The modern sporting rifle simply follows that tradition.

AR-15-style rifles are no more powerful than other hunting rifles of the same caliber and in most cases are chambered in calibers less powerful than common big-game hunting cartridges like the 30-06 Springfield and .300 Win. Mag.

And, they are a lot of fun to shoot!
